Just had a meeting with the product manager for Fournier (European card manufacturing company, the equivalent of USPCC and owned by the same company). He told me that Linen is the Euro equivalent of Air Cushion. I thought that was quite interesting.

Speaking of the cheapest place to get decks, does anyone know the best place to get a one way force deck and a blank deck? cards4magic have them for a fiver and I hope they're cheaper elsewhere, especially since I'm using the one way force deck to give cards away!

I've seen a few on ebay for about £3.50, not sure if they are still up though. Strange they class Linen as the 'Air-cushion' equivalent, no-where near as nice.

If you want a force deck with a Bicycle back then Magic Nevin is my favourite port of call (http://www.magicnevin.com/BikeCards.asp)

Slightly less than £4.50, they are the cheapest I've found *and* you get to choose the force card.

As for linen versus air cushion debate, all I know is that they are different terms for the same technology. I cannot personally tell any significant difference between the feel of a Waddingtons deck (linen) and a Bicycle deck (AC).
