Beardy's Back!

Postby Beardy » Oct 3rd, '10, 01:23

Well I know it has been a good few months, but I'm back after taking a good hard look at my life at this point in time; let me fill you in on both the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The Good:

I passed my second year of University

I'm applying for a PHD in Psychology, specialising in belief

I Met Uri Geller, and went over his house for drinks. I also have his contact numbers whereby I can ask for advice, and got a testimonial when I performed!! (Very exciting!)

I ran the Swansea 10k in 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 50 seconds (Thanks again DenmarkKilo for sponsering! I didn't reach my target for the charity though :( )

I've joined a gym

I've lost 2 inches around my waist and half a stone

The Bad:

Unfortunately my Grandad passed away at the age of 65 from a combination of a variety of diseases, including a rare form of cancer

Myself and my girlfriend of 7 months have unfortunately split up; no relationship end is ever a good thing

It turns that funding for my PHD is near non-existent, and I am unable to afford one if I am unsuccessful

The Ugly:

I've taken a good look at myself and what I value at this point in time. Due to this I have made several changes with relation to such things as the way I look, the way I dress, and my general health on the whole.

I've also thought more about certain things that I say, and how they can not always, even in person, be seen the way I sometimes mean, and sometimes cause offence:

Thus, I would like to make an open apology to Becky "Lady of Mystery" (former) Harris (now) McKay (I Think!). Many many months ago I made a suggestion to Becky that she use her femeninity to her advantage. She refused, and was understandably very affronted and upset. I wish to make an open apology and hope that our professional relationship can turn positive again, as it once was.

The Extras:

I've received an e-mail from youtube offering to make me a partner, meaning I get paid per view of my videos, which is nice and exciting :)

I'm also in line to potentially shoot a DVD for my PK Touches, though it is early stages yet. It would include my 3 different kinds; one is my impromptu version which I use all the time, one is my impromptu version whereby I poke one person in the belly, and another person reacts at the same time, and one of my effect "Bang", video of which is on this site and my youtube channel

I've been hired by the University to perform for all the students on tuesday, so have my next 2 hour stage appearance less than a week away!

Closing:

And there we go! That is me in this busy last few months, and I do hope that I haven't missed too much!

:)

Love

Chris

never release anything you still use beardy...if it earns you money in its current form - do not release it...

plus, it'll get torrented within the hour of release...and you'll not make any money really...

do it in a booklet, and control who you sell it to - but if you're not going to use it anymore and the methodology is yours to sell...then go for it...

and as for the rest - its all part of life, you live and learn every day...continue to do so...and always be wary of letting the ego take over the rest...not directly aimed at you, well...  just pontificating on a sunday really...

Thanks Beardy, that's really sweet of you to say and your apology is more than happily accepted :D

Come here for a big, make friends hug Image

Sounds like it's been a real rollercoaster time for you and I'm really glad to hear that you're pulling yourself back on track.

Can you use a contraction on a proper noun?
