I have had a number of emails in the last few months asking about the availability of Double Back. Due to circumstances out of my control, I was not able to get them manufactured. However, I can tell you that it will be be available in a new format. It will, of course, come with everything you need to perform it. Also included is a DVD with handling tips, presentations and subtleties. It is being shipped to Murphy's by the end of the month so look out for it soon!

I am also trying something new with the packaging that I have never seen done before. I will be most interested to read people's views on it in due course and see if it catches on!

Excellent news it was and remains an excellent effect - it even featured in the last Ipswich Magical Society Close up competition a few weeks ago (and the magician in question was runner up).

The new format is that I have provided a DVD going into much more detail than the original written instructions. It makes it far easier to teach and, I hope, far easier to learn.

Although the trailer say you can buy it directly from me... you can't just yet. I am going away on the 19th - 26th and it is touch and go as to whether the DVDs will be ready in time. If not, I will be shipping them out once I return.

Man alive I love this effect. I assume it's you doing the teaching on the DVD Jon? Having seen your lecture I can't imagine anybody having any difficulty picking this up if so.

Yes, for better or worse, it is me on the DVD. I teach the handling for each phase of the routine as well as an alternative to the Elmsley Count. This brings it into the realm of 'now anyone can do it'.
