Hello from Ludders

Postby Ludders » May 9th, '05, 22:24

Hello I'm 15 and I'm starting to get back into magic.
I'm not that great but I want to learn and this forum looked the best. I have a small amount of experience with coins and cards. Basic coin sleights (French Drop, Flying Shuttle etc) but I want to get learning early so by the time I'm 25 I will have some skill.

I hope you guys can help me!

Welcome aboard Ludders (see what I did there...board?) ;)

Sorry, that's a favourite of mine.

Get back into magic at 15!? Impressive.

It's hardly impressive, I wasn't very good. Oh yea, I also forgot that I'm actually 16, not 15!

I like that joke of yours... very clever :D

"It's hardly impressive, I wasn't very good."

Better than a nail through the foot. Or just throwing a table at the audience.........so you'd 've been better than me. :P
(I'm j/k.... of course.....but for my first public performance of magic.....none of the the stuff I'd needed set up was set up....so I couldn't do any tricks.....so I tried to make one up on the spot.....I was eight. So it just involved me hiding an egg behind my back................

Oh the memories!)

"Oh yea, I also forgot that I'm actually 16, not 15!"

Tee hee...don't worry. I almost said I was 16....then realizing I was actually 17. So I decided to omit that part of my post. :)

"I like that joke of yours... very clever"

.....don't encourage me. :D

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
