Ben Earl's Gambit 2

Postby archini » Nov 5th, '10, 16:45

Not many people know this and I try to keep it very quiet.... but I am a pretty niffty card guy. Oh yeah baby I can bust some moves. I am to cards what Mitsubishi is to fork lift trucks (check out the FLTA awards 2010). But I cannot compete with the soft and slightly feminine hands of Ben Earl, he is like a Crown C-5 series. ( http://www.crown.com/usa/products/usa_i ... ngine.html )

The second issue of Ben's underground now overground (He's like a Womble of card magic) magazine Gambit... or as it should be know for this issue only 'Gambit 2', and G2 for short is awesome. It is as good as issue 1 with different stuff to make it worth reading (which you wouldn't if he just re covered issue 1. Articles from Williamson, Justin Hyam and the until now elusive Jack Juicey (Vegas lowlife worker)

Ben is among the best in the world and they aren't just my words, he says so too. For some insane reason he is sharing some very strong and workable stuff.

Do yourself a favour. If you want to earn the right to even compete with me at the poker tables in Blackpool (I rarely get to Vegas) then start getting well read. If I see a sloppy get ready for a DL or some crappy spelling trick from you then I know you aint into the Gambit.

Yours with not a hint of irony.

John.

I thought that the Gambit magazine was no more..?

there was a single issue released approx 2 years ago, and that was it from what was going to be a new quarterly mag.

Is it like The Crimp?

It's nothing like the crimp... it is more like err... Gambit. High quality in both content and finish.

Oh and Mr Monster, it was launched a year or two ago but was shamelessly and cruelly shared on the internet... I believe Ben may have some clever systems in place to stop that now but hence the delay I guess.
