Hi I'm Mike, I've been performing magic for about 8 years now. My main areas of interest are card magic and mentalism. I live in the Wirral, near Liverpool. My main reason for coming here is to try and find some more like minded magicians, and have a good natter about magic because there's hardly any magicians around my area that I know of.

Hi Mike, what kind of performing style do you go for with your mentalism?

Thanks everyone for your welcome. It dependant on the trick I'm performing; generally I tend to take a more playful approach to my mentalism performance, which I find works well for most of my routines. But I have a fewer darker routines which I perform very seriously; such as russian roulette and the dead or alive test. I try to vary it just so my audience aren't fed up or seeing a really serious, dark performer.

Well, variety IS the spice of life as they say. If you ever get yourself around Chester, let me know!

It is indeed and I certainly will :) I should hopefully be going to the Session 2011 so maybe might see some of you there.
