Just wondering, did anyone get any tickets?

Me and the missus are going down on the Friday (3rd Dec).
A 2 hour drive, but I am sure it will be a fun evening.

It is at Pinewood Studios (Bucks SL0 0NH), does anyone know of anywhere else to visit while around there? I was wondering if to go down early and catch a tube into London, but I might not be able to leave till 12ish and therefore will only have a few hours down there.

Its my patch. windsor isnt that far away, in fact there are many nice towns and vilages in th earea.
I hope that you are lucky enough to get in. The way tickets for shows work, is a few unlucky ones dont. They get offered a ticket for another shoot on another day.
get there early.... You then get a wrist band with a number.

you then go into a huge marquee.. and they read out numbers.

its only then you find out if you are lucky.

Maybe I will just get there a few hours early and hang about. I may also just take it easy coming down. I assumed they would only send out as many tickets as people they could accomodate. But then I guess not everyone will turn up.

EDIT: I just read up on it and I have a 'Priority Pass' meaning that if I turn up 60-45mins ahead of time I will be guaranteed access.

just make sure that you are there early.. then there shouldnt be any problems. Thye very gay guy at the gate is nice..., and the coffee in the tent is bloody horible. ( and expensive)

Thanks. We will most likely be there hours ahead of time.
Since you seem to know the place very well. Is there on site parking, or do I need to park down the road? And is there anywhere nice/local to grab some food before the event?

there is a huge car park, and the man on the main gate will show you which way to go. there is the crooked billet pub, on the roundabout which is the best place to grab something to eat before the show.. afterwards, the only place is the Tesco garage next to the crooked billet. :)

Mate - Pinewood! Just seeing the bigass blue screen would be good enough for me :)

you cant see it unless you go next door to Black Park ( which is a nice walk) and look through the fence. Its huge!!

also once you have viseted black park, you will recognise it in sooo many films. :)
