This was my first applausetv show (I have been to see deal or no deal), but I guess since they have denied me tickets the past few times, I was given priority (or because I signed up within the hour it was made available).

I would love to go back, but like you said, it is a long drive back. I started in Leicester (my university), but went back to Redditch after the show (my hometown). I assume you meant shirley, solihul? Not too far from me.

We were sat on the right side of the centre section (there was one person between me and the steps) and about 3 rows from the front of that section. So we had a camera shoved in our faces many times.

The props used on stage were not small, and alot of mess was made. I agree, the stage hands worked well. Lenny was taking the *, saying that because they wear all black, that they were invisible and kept making jokes. Was quite funny....at the time.

The Magicians

Postby magicmundo » Dec 14th, '10, 21:40

Well guys, Pinewood studios is way too far for me to travel - especially if it starts snowing again! I'm going to have to sit it out at home and watch it on the box.

I wonder if it'll be all its cracked up to be,though. Won't it all be superhype and reality tv style blah blah? Maybe not. I hope not.

Still, its got to be good for everyone that Magic is going back to prime time tv.

And what about the Penn & Teller tv competition: anyone up for that?

There might be news about that on the show's website later on. Without saying too much, that site will feature prediction style items for the viewers to try out and reference will be made to it on the show itself.

iPlayer is UK only, so there will be no legal way to watch it

Sorry

It's well overdue that Jame More has a TV break as he's such a talented magician.
