Hi,

I will soon be performing a routine with the Stealth and I have developed a script around it. I would like members of the forum to take a look and see if the can offer any advice/ways to improve it.

So my questions are is this a reasonable request and if so where do I post it?

I'm not sure there is an appropriate place to post a routine if you want to keep it exclusive to yourself. In the public area anyone could see it and copy it. If you want to keep it all hush hush, perhaps you could PM the routine to one of the Mods (not neccessarily me 'cos'I'm going away from Friday morning for a couple of weeks!) who can then post it in the private area for assesment and discussion by the other Mods. Your ideas will be safe as none of us would dream of nicking them but, if you prefer, all records of it can be deleted from the Forum after they've had a look at it. I'm assuming you would prefer an unvarnished, unbiased, warts and all asessment - but in the nicest possible way?

I have ben playing around with magic since xmas and have decided to take it a step further. A friend has put me in contact with a group of magicians who want to welcome me to their group, but would like me to perform some kind of routine.

This has made me think about what I have been doing, which is basically buy/read about a trick perform for my friends etc and then move onto the next trick.

It made me sit down and start think about what I liked and am comfortable performing, hence the stealth - which lead me to thinking about a reasonable way to perform/script it.

I wouldn't mind getting some advice on a complete routine. I was thinking following up with pyro perception and then had thought about TT, but it doesnt really flow. i had also consider two card monte or a card transpo, but nerves may make me flunck these card ones, where is best to post for advice on the overall routine.

Also, which mod shoudl I reply too?

It's good to hear that you're building up a flowing routine rather than 'doing a few tricks' and we all wish you well with joining the group!

The Stealth wallet is a great utility and any one of us will be happy to check out your ideas, you can choose from Mog, Bananafish, Nick J, Tom Lauten but I don't mind passing on your ideas if it helps. I only mentioned my forthcoming absence in case you wondered why I'd suddenly gone quiet and thought I’d shot off to Las Vegas to make a fortune with your idea!!
