The Electric Touch-Yigal Mesika

Postby mdanial » Dec 29th, '10, 06:26

Hey guys....I dont know if this is the right place for this post but would appreciate any help you guys can give.

I bought The Electric Touch some years ago and have not been using it. I just unpacked it yesterday and noticed that the magnet is gone. was just wondering if any of you guys have been using this effect before and have any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Get a new magnet.

In what universe is that a bazinga?

Dragging this back on topic, this happened to me too. I googled to find a solution & found Maplins might have the right kind of magnet but not got round to going in & looking for it properly.

Thanks for the help!

Got a new magnet on ebay and the whole thing worked out well

The reason I asked was that there was a special note on the manual about how "delicate" the magnetic switch for this device is on the...so I didnt want to take any chances on ruining it with a stronger magnet or something....

Thanks anyway!

Any chance you can post the strength or size or it for future reference?

Did you just look for one the same size or did it have some kind of strength measurement?

I had to replace my magnet and I really don't think the strength matters, and I think when they say delicate they mean 'hair trigger' not fragile.

Of course I've only used it a few times so I could be wrong.
