invisible flying card

if anyone has seen the teaser for "how to do street magic", a dvd, does anyone know the name of the trick where david (i think thats his name) takes a card out of the deck, throws it, but as soon as it leaves his hand it dissapears. ive started to work with sleights of hand, such as georges old trick, and silk TT's, and this looks like an interesting card trick to work with.

The card vanish that he does is reletivly simple.
Just work on different palms til you figure out the right one ;)

hmmm...i've learnt ***** palm that way...most people work on a rubbing motion with one hand while placing the card into ***** plam, but the way ive learnt it is to use a throwing motion and whip the card into a ***** palm very fast...tis been a great method for me, but seeing the above thread it gives me an idea as to use more of a throwing motion with the hand and then followup and retrieve the card by whipping it back into my hand and pretending to catch it

ok, i found out the palming for the vanish, but im not quite sure of a good way to remove the card from my hand, without "reapearing" it, like in the video. im not sure what a good misdirection would be, since my hand is basically the only thing sticking out, and i cant just pull it away, or it will reveal the card. any ideas?

Well, if you're doing tenkai, just bring it back the same way you put it there.

but if i reverse the tenkai, that will show everyone the card, i want it to appear as though the card really disappeared and i cant retrive it.

lol....your on your own there bud...that would require you to ditch the card while in tenkai palm...although on that note ive been trying to work on a tenkai sleeve but have no luck

From that position it is fairly easy to get the card into a specs shirt pocket if you wanted it to appear in an impossible location (takes a lot of confidence and may need a change in your own performance style plus the right atmosphere and venue on the day!). It also isn't hard to drop it off on a deck if there is one around or lap it if you are seated
