Well, if anyone remembers me, they will know I've dipped in and out of being a semi-active member on the forum several times. This time I should be here for a while. Now that I've finished school and have moved on to my A Levels I actually have a lot more free time than I used to, so I've now got the time to dedicate myself to what I love, and practise until I pass out. I also thought it would be useful to re-join the forums as for my A-Level Drama assessment my class have to put together a 45 minute preformance. Considering that the last performance we did was about 5 minutes long I'd say it's quite a step up. The play we're performing is called "A Mouthful of Birds", and is really disjointed and weird, it's kind of like a modern take on the Baachae (don't know how to spell that), blood comes out of a teapot, kids play with a dead rabbit, the usual stuff. Our homework for the last few weeks has literally just been to think weird thoughts on how we can make the play even, wait for it, weirder. We got talking about possesion, god, the supernatural and clairvoyance. I suggested that we use some bizzare magic in the play and my teacher fell in love with the idea. I now have perfrom gut buster in front of my entire class to see if they like it. I've only ever performed to a maximum of 3 or 4 people before, sometimes more over the internet (livestream), they've always liked what I've done, so I'm not too nervous. Anyway that ends my little ramble, and I hope I haven't bored you too much, if any of you could suggest some weird or gory effects that I could use in the play, then it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Sam.
