    Hello James.

    Welcome, good to see you.

I've read the Mark Wilson magic book and there's some excellent material in there, just perfect for beginner magicians 8) I'd highly recommend buying magic DVD's though as learning from DVD's is much easier and you can grasp a better concept. Most magic DVD's are shot from various angles so it's much easier and quicker to learn the effects.

    Neil.

    Hi James, welcome to TM!

If your starting out, it would be best to start with books, that way, you won't forget what you learn and will have a good foundation.

Mentalism doesn't require much in the way of sleights anyway :)

Start with Royal Road for Card material

    and
