new show, new thread. Its a shame that the head shrink didnt work at all on television. It was just too small on the screen. The teleportation idea was funny.

The N Dubz cd trick, confused me a bit. I will have to watch it again .

Rolf and Chris.. that huge c,f,b proved that you dont need a gigantic budget, or electronics to create entertaining magic.

Barry & Stuart.. A fairytsle thing with a goldfish production, a needle thru tongue..( why does everybody expose a rubber tongue? ) the impaler.

Chris and Rolf and an unusual version of the web hit the streets of windsor..( And a resterant i like, Had a great gig there a few years ago )

some charming magic starting off with the butterfly on fan.. beautifull

card in mouth was ok.

An Alice in wonderland themed routine followed which Daniels would of done so well in th eold days. Such a huge vanishing bottle containing a borowed ring.., and some optical Ilusions, then Rolf drew the bottle, which came to life, containing the borrowed ring... Rolfs patter, was the instructions.. Just love him to bits..
next, N dubz, and the shrinker, the decapitated princess, and a nice Multi blade cabinet.

close call this week..... I bet Its Kemp...... No!! Its Rolf? .. No Its Lenny.

I enjoyed this week. The show has definitely got better as the weks have gone by.

I have been trying to work out why they have used these magicians. More so Chris Korn and Luis de Matos. Then whilst on another website I saw the show is to be shown next in america. My guessing the magicians were chosen to appeal to the different audiences in different countries.

Weird that neither of the 'losers' actually performed the forfeit. On the night there was a lot of discussion on the side of the set, plenty of pointing at the concrete, those 'hurdles' and the sledgehammer and it almost looked as though the late change of victim was a decision made not too long before the performance.

you couldnt of had good old Rolf go through that. If Korn had a hernia, he couldnt do it either.. so maybe it was a last minute thing. The Concrete looked stronger than the stuff people usualy use for this stunt..

It took at least 20 minutes to bring all the stuff on stage, including a hydraulic lift trolley for the concrete, gaffer tape the floor mat to the stage and position those hurdle things and all the while there were earnest discussions going on at the side. Other members in the audience checked that it was kosher.

On a lighter note, I came home with pockets stuffed with paper butterflies!

The head shrink worked perfectly for me and my lady

I watched the first one, thought it was bad.

Missed two.

Watched this one hoping it had got better.

It hasn't

It is an embarrassing show

I didn't dare! Last year she'd made over 300 wedding invitations plus 100 place cards, all featuring a butterfly which had been made in two sections, embossed, silver glittered and with 'gemstones' added. When those butterflies floated down it seemed like a very ironic effect - however, this evening I did produce a few of those I brought home but I kept at a safe distance from Mrs. M just in case.....

Anywho, back to the plot, for my money Barry & Stuart were the most entertaining and deserved to win. The Harris in Wonderland routine was puzzling as it seemed to be a lot of trouble for minimal effect, the recording started with that effect as the house and camera positioning had taken ages to set up and then quite some time to dismantle. We didn't actually see the N'Dubz CD thing but looking at it tonight I think I may have missed the point of it somewhere.....

It wasn't very good but wasn't the 'magic' bit how they managed to navigate to the correct cd player blind folded on the segways without hitting any of the cd players or bashing in to each other?

That show was just puzzling. The n-dubz trick made little sense (hardly a trick to locate a CD player?) and the forfeit being done by Lenny? Maybe they didn't anticipate Rolf to lose? (after all you couldn't let him go through with that)

There were some very nice visual effects this week. The alice in wonderland routine was nicely done (I rather liked the camera trickery to make her 'grow') and the shrinking head was fun and worked for me

Did anyone notice the cameo by Paul and Alex?
