Heres a little video of something I've been working on called The Picture Flame

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgopSmkSNUk

Can also smoulder away with no fire!

What do you reckon?

I like it. I'm definatly interested.

How much control do you have over when the paper burns?

I also like the frame but some people might be interested to know if they can have options on what it looks like.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Hey Jean,

You are in full control as to when the paper is ignited and currently I have two methods of ignition with a 3rd on its way!
It can also smoulder images away, so no fire. Vid here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJQ-z2lg7PQ - I hand-make the paper and it is normally a slower burn than in the clip, I made a bit of a potent batch. No flash paper is used, and no liquids and no gases.

Bespoke frames can be made. There are some limitations concerning carvings but is still possible. :)

It is very nice I even prefer the smoldering effect.

Incidentally anyone remember this?

It would seem that this effect and story were made for eachother.

I'm sure you could get people into the zone with that, he's a creepy little b*****d anyway!

Was discussed on a Ricky Gervais podcast, Ricky says of course that picture was in lots of housefires in the 70s, it was in lots of houses... Karl remains unconvinced

Funny you should find the story of the curse of the crying boy. That is actually the basis for one of the 6 scripts I have in the booklet!!

Here's a nice article and video about the curse http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fe ... -Punt.html
