Several years ago one of the uk online magic stores had a forum which was closed down after being hacked. On there a beginner asked if someone could recommend some effects from Expert Card Technique: Close-up Table Magic, for someone to put together as a first routine.

I marked them in my copy and used some of the effects. I was looking at the effects one day when I was practicing and thought they may be useful to some other people on here.

They are:

Boy Meets Girl

Discoveries
Rub-a-dub-dub
Lazy man's card to pocket (Jack McMillen)
Dunbury delusion (Charles Miller)

Crystal Thought

Spelling
Multi-spelling trick

I have not put these in any particular order, I thought it might be usefull to beginners. Feel free to add your thoughts for beginners creating their first routine
