I have several files on a usb like this

©┌ÍðN¤0Ï with equally daft extensions Á╦Ð File (.Á╦Ð)

how can i dlete them? i have tried killbox but it doesnt work.

Can anyone help please, i dont want to have to reformat the usb if i can some how delete the files another way.

Try installing AxCrypt, then right click on the file and select shred an delete.

unfortunately it didn't work. It givs the shred options for all the files in any folders but the ones with the gobbldy gook names.

Anything else i can try?

i drop down to dos and use dir with wildcard characters until i get the file to be unique then do a dos delete.
