The chance of being ripped off

Postby Shaark » May 21st, '05, 16:40

I have been looking for bicycle decks for a long time now and since I live in sweden buying from the U.S is not an option. But www.magictricks.co.uk have them and i wa going to order from there but you had to pay with a credit card. And my mum thinks she is going to be ripped off or something but how big is the chance? On the site it says "secure server". It's so annoying!

Very small this is a fairly well respected store.

Smaller than very small

I've ordered from them on many occasions and have never had any problems.

Online Ordering
Ordering Online from MagicTricks.co.uk couldn't be simpler. All card transactions take place on a secure server.

taken from there terms and conditions show this to your mum.

they were the first company to accept the childs credit card ive fogotton the name but it was like a prepay phone card i think its had its day now but you could e-mail them, i ordered several items from them this way before i had my own credit card and have never had any problem with them.

You have more chance of being run over to be honest. I've ordered from there lots and lots and not been ripped off however I recently had an altercation with 2 cars whilst riding a bike (not on the same day but in the same month).

I had two cars hit mine on the same side in a week ( both occasions 100% their fault ) but had no problems with any of the reputable online magic stores of which this is one.
