iCandy trailer by Lee Smith & Gary Jones

Postby Lee Smith » Feb 2nd, '11, 23:06

Guys, Here is the new trailer for mine and Gary's new project - iCandy - produced by RSVP magic.

And here is the great news! My ifone 10 project is going to be included in full on this DVD, and it will retail at the same price as the orginal project. This means that you are getting 15 routines for free

The DVD runs at over 2.5 hours and is packed full of commercial magic used by myself and Gary.

This has been a massive project and is now ready. I am really exited about this one.

As always from you, looks awesome! I could watch you perform for hours. I really wish I could buy it, but the bank account says different.
Really love Garry's three coin routine, with the third coin appearing on the wallet. Great reaction.

In the description on the youtube video, it says about pre-ordering before 18 Jan, but on the website it says 18th Feb.

It's now changed, thanks for pointing that out.

And thank you so much for the kind words. Gary is a fantastic magician and real working pro, he knows what effects work for the laymen and he gets them going everytime. He has some amazing effects on the DVD and it was so much fun to do a project with him.

We had so much great response from the last projects we really wanted to include the eyefone project to say thanks to everyone.

Lee.

I saw Lee performing some of this material earlier today while we were doing the TV audition. Fantastic stuff - easy moves but with a killer impact. And anything with Gary Jones on it is a guarantee of quality,

Move over Mel and Griff, we have a new "Smith and Jones"!

Hi Guys,

Just to show you how much is included here are the effects -

Contents:

Kick Back Kings - one of Lee's favourite routines. A chosen card, lost in the deck reappears between the Kings! Or does it?

Kick Back Kicker – The selected card jumps from your pocket and back again. You’ll love the climax to this one, that’ll fry their brains!

T.N.T - A signed card is torn then restored VISUALLY! The spectator is left holding an impossible prediction!

Eyefone 10 - How would like to leave your clients with the perfect memorable souviner? Complete with additional routines and ideas by Gary Jones, John Carey, Cameron Francis and Iain Moran. The brilliant new routine from Lee Smith that's a real 'worker' for all magicians! The release for this has been slightly delayed due to the overwhelming reponse from professional workers that have been already featuring this routine. People such as Gary Jones, Iain Moran and Cameron Francis have all added bonus routines and ideas to Lee's original plot and these have all now been added to the project! Each DVD comes with a special PDF containing several ifone 10 templates that you can print out yourself. You're also provided with templates that can be customised by you to add your name and contact details... imagine the perfect giveaway that can publicize you after the show!

Easy Eyefone - Gary Jones' easy to do version of Eyefone 10 that you'll master in minutes!

Scoop – Watch! Your signature VISUALLY jumps to the spectators signed selection. Anniversary Waltz with a regular deck!

3C - A stunning multi phase coin routine, perfect for the strolling magician.

No Palm Coins through table - If you want a self-working, super clean coins through table with no moves? Well here it is!

Ring to purse - A transposition with a borrowed finger ring and a coin purse. Using Gary's clever utility

No Sleep - One of the fastest transpositions you’ll ever see.

Vanishing point - Not for the faint hearted! A very bold sandwich effect. Once mastered always performed!

6 Card Dunbury - A great take on Charlie Millers classic.

One Short of a full deck - Brainwave with no rough or smooth and an added kicker which will knock them sideways!

Pocket 2 pocket 2 pocket – Gary’s famous pocket to pocket sequence, where the signed card jumps from pocket to pocket to pocket.......! Fast, Furious and real i-candy!

Triple Choice - Three selected cards are lost in the deck only to be found by a series of flourishes, each one getting more visual. Pure eye candy!

I've seen Lee and Gary perform these routines countless times, not only to me but to laypeople as well, and as normal they get GREAT reactions... It's most definitely on my list of must-buys at Blackpool!!! Fantastic job Lee, Gary and of course Russ!

I have to say that the trailer wasnt the most appealing thing. It repeats and is quite slow over all without showing lots of material. Some things dont seem as magical out of context such as the signature scene at the beginning where I think it looks like the cards have just been swapped as we dont know what the signed card is before?
Im sure the DVD is good as a lot of RSPV's stuff is good quality and I think your lecture notes are great, but as something that should be encouraging people to buy it isnt really that catching.

Also is Eyephone 10 the same as iFone 10 and iPhone 5?

I disagree, When you see the sheer volume of effects n the dvd it would be impossile to put them all on a trailor! As mentioned previously, I've seen Lee perform these effects and they're awesome, this dvd is a must for me :)

Hi its_tim

I am glad you enjoyed the lecture notes. I also hope you managed to get something from them you can use?

In regards to the trailer I like the fact that its not lots of flashing lights and fast bangs like some trailers. We have so much material the project it would be impossibe to fit full routines on there so you can see whats going on.

Russ has just picked a couple of the visual elements to give an idea of the material. Plus we dont want to give to much away on the trailer itself  all the clips are just short extracts from the full routines.

We might be putting up one of the full routines soon to show people something in action.

And with eyephone 10 its is the same as iphone 5 we had to change the name due to the real phones and the iphone 5 out next year.

Many thanks

Lee.

Wow. lots of great stuff included. Is there anything extra we might need to buy to make these tricks work (better). the reason i ask is because i've moved and had to sell most of my old magic stuff. I'm basically starting from scratch.

Hi,

Nearly every effect is impromptu :D The very few routines you may need something for you will probably already have or are very easy to source.

Lee.

P.S

All the templates for the eyefone effect are included as well. And there are even PDF's attached from top magicians such as Cameron Francis, Iain Moran, and John Carey.

Looks good Lee, I'm filming my DVD with Gary on Tuesday. Unfortunately it won't be ready In time for blackpool now, but I will show you the tricks in the Ruskin. Also speak to you about another DVD project.
