I'm a 23 year old guy from Copenhagen, Denmark.
I began my adventure into the world of magic at the age of 16, when a friend of mine vanished a key right in front of my eyes, and I couldn't believe it. So he gave me a few tips, and I ended up buying way too much material. But I anyway learned a lot in those first 3-4 years or so. But then all of a sudden I somehow lost interest in magic due to my other hobbies which is Flatland BMX and playing the guitar.
After this break without any magic I've suddently decided to go for it again, and this time I'm all in!
I will start of by reading some books, not to learn new tricks, but books on the subject of performing magic. I want to enhance the experience of the audience who witnesses my performance, and I really want to perform. Not just do some cool and amazing tricks, I want to script an act and want people to have a good and memorable time. I'll start of by reading Maximum Entertainment by Ken Weber. And then who knows where I'll go. As you might have noticed I have been a member here for quite a while, but never had the urge to write an introduction, because back then I now realize that I wasn't really doing magic for the sake of anyone except myself, I think I wanted to be different in someway. But I now plan to create a mentalism act and be honest about that what I do is trickery, and therefore have people enjoy the show instead of pretending to be something I'm not.
Thanks for reading
All the Best
Nick
