The Friendly Tarot Card Challenge!

Postby themagicwand » Feb 6th, '11, 01:24

After doing reasonably well at (sort of ) predicting the outcome of the Italy v Ireland rugger match, I thought I would invite requests for me to divine the outcome of forthcoming sporting and social events. Once I receive a request (publicly on this thread - no PM's please except those offering paid employment), I will then consult the tarot and will report back on this thread how the cards have determined the fixture will go.

Just for fun, I know it's silly, no need to get outraged if you've just read Tricks of the Mind. It should just be regarded as entertainment etc. Fire away! :D

Getting a mental image of you as Zoltar, stuck in a glass box with a turban... ;)

Because I'm interested to see how this pans out: will I make my deadline for February 28th? (it's the most innocent question I can think of)

Oh Madelon, you know the answer to your query already! Of course you'll be fine, the cards tell me that you are on the right path and although there may be a hiccup or two along the way, things will work out the way they were meant to. And in your heart, you know that too.

Anymore? Please be a specific as you like. :D

Lawrence, I sense some success for you in this endevour. However be aware that any short terms gains will always result in longer term loses. Bless you.

My spirit guide is telling me that the football match you refer to is actually Rep. Ireland v Wales.

Because of the inaccuracy of your question, you may have muddied the psychic waters somewhat. However I will do my best, but please don't judge me too harshly if I mess it up. I am only human after all and not some kind of machine.

My personal instinct would err towards a draw, but the cards themselves were telling me 3 - 1. I will not tell you who the cards thought will win. I don't want to upset anyone or encourage the betting of money on the basis of my predictions!

This is a very important question for me, perhaps the most important question of my life right now.

Will Tim Schafer ever make a Psychonauts sequel? If so, do the cards tell you when this might be?

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Does this also mean I can blame you when I don't, or is that my own fault? ;)

Jean, you have received the Death card. As you know, this is not a bad card. It is a card of new beginnings and of fresh starts. Perhaps it is time to move on.

No! Never damn you! You sound like my therapist, and that evil lawyer who drafted the restraining order. None of you understand.

Psychonauts is my Jesus Christ, I will wait and prepare for his second coming, then all you unbelievers will pay.
