Glad Ofcom found there was no case to answer. It's a cliché but there's no such thing as bad publicity, have a look at Mr Power's website and you'll see he appears to be thriving.

This amuses me greatly. Derren Brown's manager used to manage a psychic medium named James Byrne and Byrne actually wrote a favourable chapter about him in his memoirs. Now he manages a sceptic who debunks psychics. I must try not to be too cynical about the way the world works.

Personally I think any psychic who is daft enough to go on one of those programmes is not showing great astuteness and intuition. The best way to deal with debunkers is to ignore them unless they pay in advance.

Good! That idiot Power can't seem to stop digging himself an ever deeper hole.

Aye. Whatever your opinion of the psychic industry, it's difficult not to get the idea that Power is a particularly nasty piece of work. Glad Ofcom made the point that he'd been given right to reply within the show itself; something Power seemed to forget.

Glad to see some common sense on the part of Ofcom.

Power didn't state his case much during the programme, but that's because he flatly refused to take advantage of his right to reply (and was filmed refusing). He can't very well argue now that his view wasn't represented.

This is crazy - Derren Brown wasnt trying to prove / disprove anything - Throughout the whole series he came across as very neutral and unbiased and was simply asking questions that an "everyman" may ask.

I think its crazy for anyone to imply that the guy on the show was treated unfairly, my opinion is that he should have realised that his gig was up and should have come clean about it (my POV, not meaning to be disrespectful or anything).

Couldn't agree more with Robbie, "Glad to see some common sense on the part of Ofcom."
