:D

I'd have chosen a less neutral name if I'd realised there was no box to tick saying if you were a girl or guy!

Add a girly avatar of some kind or other.

That should fix things.

And we want to see your Victorian look.

Many photo editing programs have a feature to resize to the required size of 60 x 60 pixels. If you're really stuck then I daresay one of our more tech savvy members might be able to resize your avatar for you.

stardust wrote:I think the bottom line is, I actually just really like the cards. No particular reason, I just like them. For me this is a good enough reason in itself to perform with them, so maybe I will just have to save up for 52 decks of them to make my own sven deck! At least I'd have plenty for signing and tearing!

And in anser to the question about what pen I would use....I hadn't thought about that yet, but I own a fine selection of fountain pens and quills. Whatever I use will be in keeping with the image!

Well if it's for aesthetic reasons I can't argue with you there :)

Thank you very much to all the people who have pm'd me. Hopefully there will be an avatar magically appearing at some point. I just need to talk nicely to the pixies inside this machine! :D

*edit* Woohoo...the pixies did it! (with Kolms help!)

Hey, you could make a red/black svengali deck with a guillotine and one pack. Not as impressive as some others, but might be enough?

edit: I mean, as a mentalism trick, you could get a routine together like this:

I've been training myself in astral projection, you know that ability that some mystics have to rise out of their bodies and exist on another plane of reality? I've seen some demonstrations which really defy all logic. Today I'm going to give you just a taste of what's possible with that kind of extreme mental control. What I do is not actually astral projection in the true sense, it's a mix between intense visualisation and memory skills. (fast riffle through deck). Ok I... I think... (another riffle) yes, I've now separated the deck in my mind into red and black portions. Riffle through to show deck is all mixed. Now what I'll do (slyly turn deck over) is find a red card. (Cut deck, show it's red.) And another (cut). And another (cut). Repeat 10 or 15 times as the audience becomes more and more convinced that you couldn't possibly be finding red cards by chance.

Just a thought. Not a massive impact, but perhaps a good starter.
