a magic tattoo

Postby KingJeux. » Feb 23rd, '11, 21:56

Hey guys this is a combination of thoughts. First off, the trick Bruised: a chosen card appears in a bruise created on your arm. I figure this is strong because as far at they are concerned there is no way the card could have been known ahead of time (free choice), thus the bruise must have just appeared, and so the revelation is brand new and unique and that is what makes it 'magic' as opposed to a feat of skill.

Secondly, I want a tattoo.

Now I figure I don't want to get a bruise tattoo'd on me permanently, but rather subtly have a tattoo reflective of me with a card force mixed in with it, something akin to the face/ liar tattoo. Something more than meets the eye so to speak.

Thinking about it now the fact that it is a real tattoo would not have the same affect because it is obviously done ahead of time, but I wonder if it
would still have the premise of a prediction as opposed to an 'appearing revelation'?

Anyone have any ideas on this?

If you want to expose forces, go for it.

You could say that any prediction exposed forces in that case! If it wasn't a tattoo then it could be assumed that it appeared after the choice was made, and so you theoretically expose the concept of a swami. Does it matter? :?

Perhaps an ambigram sort of thing, like this: http://unterart.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/joker.jpg

But reading something like 'magic' or 'lucky' one way (I'm sure you can come up with better!) and '5 clubs' in a mirror, or something. You'd need to speak to an artist really.

There have been a few interesting threads on tattoos here: http://www.google.com/search?q=tattoo&s ... agic.co.uk :P
