What card trick?

Postby Ludders » May 24th, '05, 16:25

I just realised the other day that the only good card trick I can do is an Ambitious Card routine. I think I should actually start learning some good card tricks.

What card tricks would you recommend learning?

Thanks,
Ludders

I wish all i could do was the ambitous card routine, especially if its spot on. I havent even begun to look at this trick yet as im still learning the sleights needed.

I would suggest something like a two card monte perhaps. Any card trick which happens in the spectators hands are great.

Thanks

Come on Ludders if you can do the ambitious card, you can do so many other tricks using the same techniques.

Get your imagination working or buy a few dvds to get you started...

Yea I tried the two card monte. It wasn't too hard. Just the misdirection. Do as I do is very good because it fools them every time but I haven't used that in ages... I think I will. Thanks for all the help!

With a few basic card sleights and simple card control you can entertain for a couple of hours. If you can't do that, look at what you are doing, and PM me if you can't work it out.

Hi Ludders,

I'd reccomend that you get yourself a brainwave deck (always a good standby in case you lose the break and the card) ask the spectator which card it was and show that you couldn't find it because it was in the pack (face up) waiting all the time.

Another good trick is NFW. These two are good tricks that will stand the test of time and can be stuck in your jacket for that 'show us a trick' moment.

There are reviews of both on this fourm.

Hope this is helpful,

Vic

I wasn't knocking the Ambitious Card, I was saying that was the best one I knew but I wanted to learn some others :) I like the idea of the blank card but I have no blank cards :(

Thanks for your cool ideas,
Ludders
