I will hopefully be going for this providing my other half passes her driving test

Is anyone else going, and maybe fancies meeting up?

I'll be there after an amazing year last year.
Looking forward to seeing who the surprise guest is - according to Andi he is "better than Ricky Jay". Should be good! (My money is dissapointingly on Ben Harris)
I'll be the one in the corner shuffling cards...oh wait.
All the best,
Croz

I'm really honoured to be doing the interview with David. I promise it will be very special and we will talk about THAT effect!
In fact, if you want to read about my experience of it when I met him recently then have a look at my blog,
TRICKTOPIA
Hope to see many of you at The Session. This year promises to be the best yet.

A little bump for this. The Session is this weekend and you can see:
Darwin Ortiz
Denis Behr
Ben Earl
Luke Jermay
Pit Hartling
David Berglas
...to name a few.
Hopefully see some of you there!

I'm biased, but it was a fantastic weekend.
Not only did the David Berglas interview go well but he performed his card magic afterwards to a stunned crowd - and yes, he did do the Berglas Effect!

Steve, did David perform the actual Berglas effect where the deck is not touched by him after card and number have been named? What other effects did he do? Was the performance recorded?
Thanks.

If my memory is right then yes he did. He had a number of spectators on the stage with their own decks and found cards they merely thought of in a number of ways. When he did The Berglas Effect the atmosphere in the room was tangible. As the spectator counted down to the card you could have heard a pin drop. Without appearing sychophantic it was a moving experience.
It was filmed but it's unlikely to be released unless David arranges it.
There will be recent performance footage of him on one of the DVD's in his new book.
There is a more in-depth write up (and a couple of pics) of the event on my blog.
By the way, best pop over to the introductions forum and introduce yourself.
Kind regards
