My Riffle Pass: What do you think?

Postby Ludders » May 25th, '05, 15:32

Here is my Riffle Pass, I know it needs some practice but can you give me your opinions and maybe even some tips to help me improve it?

Thanks,

Quite impressive but as the card is visible from the first riffle I'd leave it at that. Less is more etc. Looks and sounds good though.

Cool thanks. Riffling 3 times is a habit from doing it with the selected card face down (when I riffle it 3 times they don't suspect I did anything in the riffles if that makes sense).

Yea its probably easier on a DVD such as "The Pass with Randy Wakeman DVD" or "Ninja 2 by Ellusionist". I used the Ellusionist DVD, Brad is a good teacher. When you first learn the technique, you have to do it slow, keep practising all the time and eventually it will just click. I did it to myself in the mirror then one day I practised on my Dad and he was amazed. It's worth every minute :D

I hope that helps,
Ludders

I would try to make it even more smooth. You tend to open your hands and fingers. Try to stay compact and hide the movement of your fingers and hands even more.

My fingers tend to spread a little too, as they do when I palm a card. I guess I'll have to train my muscles to keep my fingers together.

I used a DVD but I still had to practise loads. It was hard but eventually you get it. I found that even though I thought it was obvious to see when I did it in the mirror, the people I showed didn't see the move. It's easier when it's a face down card because everyone thinks you are just riffling the deck and the move is yet to come. When it's done with the card face up, the pressures on to hide the pass :D I just practiced loads!

nicely performed but you do need to keep the every thing hidden wile you performe the trick by keeping your fingers closed more but other than that you pulled that one of good :)
