Michael Vincent Effect?

Postby morrowsean » Mar 4th, '11, 19:09

Hi all, Whats the name of this effect by Michael Vincent that he used on penn and teller fool us? He showed two differant cards, rubbed them in a sleeve and they changed into two aces. Ive found a video of him performing it, its the 1st trick:

Dunno. ;D I am interested too, especially in the last part, when he mix the cards in every possible way (front/back too) and then he creates a flush of cards for every suit...

I can answer that for u, the last effect where all the suits are in order is called one shuffle finale by Michael Vincent. It can only be ordered from his website, think its £27 for the booklet.

It's called Discovery of Aces, I think. Earl Nelson improved it in his book Variations. Sleeve Aces, Nelson's handling of the trick, is beautiful.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

He writes that it is Cavorting then Slap Aces, followed by Marlo's One Shuffle.

If you are serious in learning it, ask Michael. He is one of the the most generous, and helpfull chaps.

Providing you are sincere in finding the source of the method, he will assist.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....
