Geometric Prediction Anyone know it

This looks like a great little trick possibly along the lines off Free Will.

Geometric Prediction is a really simple yet powerful trick.

Effect

A spectator takes a pack of cards, makes some random piles, two cards are randomly selected.
The spectator takes a circle and square medallion and puts one on each of the two cards.
Up to this point all have been done complete by free will of the spectator.
The magician (that’s you) opens a black wallet that has been on the table out in the open the whole time. The wallet is opened and not only are the only two cards in the wallet the same as the spectator’s but also one card has a circle cut out and the other has a square cut out exactly matching the spectator’s selection.

Does anyone know if this trick is any good, any chance of a review? Ta so

Excellent - if you feel the effect warrants it, a review would be very nice :)

Geometric Prediction

:D This has got to be the simplest yet post powerful mentalism trick you can perform. To start, I was'nt a big fan of mentalism but as with experience and more awareness, this is definately an area to include in your close up routine, not only can you make it last 5 minutes the effects are tip-top and you can sit back, grin and relish that they will never suss it out. You can adapt it if you want but i've adapted a bicycle deck to cover at least 4 routines, this, 2 fire predictions and Million dollar monte. This routine lasts anywhere between 15 - 20 minutes for the 4 tricks depending on the table and it's a guaranteed pleaser, repeat every other table and you're laughing. It's quite hard to get hold of now, i've got 3 for sale (02/11/07) give me a shout if you want one or any handling tips

I can see how this effect for example can be done by a S...G... deck with two f.... cards (usually there is only one) and a two way o.. (depending on where the circle and square are placed).

I hate spending money on effects if I do not I know the method, (or have at least not seen it performed) but I am sure I am not alone on that ;-)

Magic is slight of mind!
