Well it's my birthday today, same as Paul's (themagicwand) and I'm 45 .... and to be honest I don't feel (and act) a day over 25.

One of my friends is a couple of years younger than me and he smugly pointed out that I'm now nearer to 50 than I am to 40 ...... yea thanks for that Mark, I really needed that .... NOT !!!

Revenge is sweet though - he works for me and I've been making him earn his keep this week hehe :)

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I'm going to hijack your thread too and reiterate it is also my birthday today.
I too was irriatated by a friend today who pointed out I was getting nearer to 30 and they were just coming up to their 25th Birthday.

I could have slapped her

It was my 55th on Monday.
I'm starting to panic now.... am I getting too old to have an official mid-life crisis ?

I never seemed to suffer from a mid-life crisis.

By the way, did I tell you guys how I gave up a 9 - 5 job to become a professional full-time tarot card reader, seance host and mind-reader at the age of 41?

I am 45 and was planning a midlife crises. But how do I know exactly when that is? I really don't think I'll make it to 80 so I may already be late.

The other issue is I'm way to tired to have a mid life crises. I can't afford the energy that takes.

Like the old saying goes- if I'd have known I was going to live this long, I would have taken a lot better care of myself.

Most of you guys are young! It's really depressing to read about guys in their forties who think they're getting old. Remember - 60 is the new 39!!! (At least I keep telling myself that!)

Good thoughts,

Bob

When I reached 50 I decided not to grow any older and certainly not become any more responsible. I further decided to mentally deduct a year rather than add one so I am now a very annoying 37 but looking forward very much to being a reckless 20 something and, with any luck, a mouthy irresposible teenager again - I might have to knock 3 years off at a time to get there :D !
