Hi,

I am thinking of getting a mind power deck, though I will only be performing it on freinds and family, I am not a pro or anything, so mainly I will be just buying it for the secret/method. Is it worth getting for that reason? i.e is the secret a good one?
How convincing is the trick when done by an amature like myself?

Thanks for the link, I have read the thread, however it deviates somewhat from the original topic.
I just want to know a couple of things, is the secret one that makes you think "oh I never would have thought of that!" or is it more of a "damn, is that it, I should have thought of that!"??
Also, can you really hand the deck out for inspection and let the spectator handle it?

You can't really let spectators handle it, especially if you have tried to disguise it as a bike deck, but there really is no need.

I've read DB uses the mind power deck on the smoke trick he performs on Steven Fry. On this he doesn't fish for any clues at all, is this a standard part of the trick (i.e does the vid on penguine show him fishing to add effect)? Or does this require more work?

Buy it and you'll see, trust me, you won't be dissapointed!

However, there are various outcomes requiring various amounts of fishing, but I find that the non fishing result comes out more often than not when you do it Derren's way.

this was just luck... in devils picture book example he has to fish a little bit more!, but its still a lot less then the guy in the demo!!

the secret is simple but excelent! and dont worry you wont get it and think you could have made it yourself!!!
