Raven fishing line and elastic question

Postby james948 » Mar 26th, '11, 13:04

Hi there,
I bought my Raven second hand and the fishing line is not nearly long enough. I was wondering where you might recommend picking up some more. Obviously it needs to be incredibly thin but I don't know the diameter (fishing lingo!).

I was also considering buying more elastic; that way I could use one raven in multiple coats; i.e clip the raven on to the coat I'm going to wear. Has anyone had any success with this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The instructions state the type and thickness of fishing line used.

Try contacting Chuck Leach, as long as you have the item and can describe the workings well enough he might be willing to send the full instructions or at least the spec of the parts you need.

Chuck is a real gentleman and will no doubt help you out. I contacted him some time ago on behalf of someone at the cafe and found him to be very pleasant and helpful :)
