Wow, that looks beautiful and I love the thought you put into it. Well done that man!

Cheers everyone. They're selling like hot cakes (what do hot cakes sell like, I wonder?) and my fingers are stained beyond recognition, but I'm so glad people like it.

We put a lot of thought into every aspect of the design to pre-empt the usual lazy criticisms of electronic effects and to make a better product. Did you know, for example, that there's no on/off switch? To switch it on, you just insert the stand into the base. You can do that in front of the seance and no one will be any the wiser. The circuitry takes so little power that the battery lasts for a long tine, and also takes a long tine to fade so you can't be left with a dead prop at the crucial moment. The design of the base itself means that you can rap it on the side with your knuckles and it will always sound completely solid. The pendulum is made from a single block of tulipwood, so the grain always matches from top to toe.

To just have one on a shelf or a sideboard, casually steer the conversation around to the right subject, then....... oh boy...

Thanks guys. I'm really pleased with this piece. It was a long time in gestation and I even had to invent a new kind of switch mechanism to make sure it's 100% reliable, but it's done now.

We've even had a request to "steampunk" a unit, which is interesting to say the least. A high gloss "French polish" finish, brass feet, and brass etching along the edges and where the stand enters the base. Very nice.

EDIT: Brass feet, not grass ones. That would be silly.
