I have to say the futility of entering a contest year after year we (the UK) cannot possibly win is just so wonderfully eccentric and frankly British that I almost get a patriotic lump in my throat thinking about it.

Ahaha, im with you on that one... its great how you can tell exactly which country will vote for whom - if we dont get atleast out of the last 10 with this one there will be so much political "handbags at dawn" it will be unreal

I love Eurovision, it's just brilliant fun. I'll be putting on the usual Eurovision party at mine this year and looking forward to it.

I'm going to a Eurovision party to bitch about the acts like a crazed drag queen.
Hmmm... drag up for Eurovision?

Switzerland, Hungary and Azerbaijan were all good songs, especially Azerbaijan. A proper ballad.

Don't forget the Icelandic song!
Sadly, it's author passed away at the age of 36, just a few days before performing it in the pre-contest here in Iceland, but his friends created the group that performs it in Düsseldorf tonight.

PS. No key changes, but a tempo change towards the end ...
