Lennart Green Top Shot

Postby Dovewars » May 15th, '11, 12:55

Hi All,

Posting very excitedly after making 15 top shots in a row. Just wanted to pass on some tips... which I found after looking through the forums, and looking through various DVDs.

1) Buy a tub of SortKwik - this has made a big difference to the having dry hands. My pinky grips with no problem now.

2) Buy BHM by Ian Kendall http://www.virtualmagicshow.com/bhm/ - this did a good job of explaining the move whereas I found Lennart Green to skim over his move a little.

3) Careful how often you practice, your poor little pinky will get tired and possibly strained... yes I strained my pinky!

4) Spectators always seem surprised when the card flies out into my hand, especially when its their signed card especially since all the focus is on my right hand, I pretend I am going to make the card appear out of thin air... using it for an ambitious card finale.

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

I'm happy you managed to learn Top Shot from BHM - I think I'm the only person Lennart gave permission to teach the move :)

The link is a bit out of date, though. The correct place to get the lessons is www.virtualmagicshow.com

Take care, Ian
