Hi everyone. Just joined and want to say hello. Always loved magic, now finally been getting round to doing it more in last year. Like all sorts but mostly into cards at moment. Hope to get more involved in the forums as much as I can and get to know you all better.

Believe it was May 25th in Sheffield but I missed it. Watching other magicians is almost as fascinating for me as doing it myself. Maybe next time ...

Watching magicians is one of the important bits of magic. The patter, the way they dig themselves out of mistakes (which must happen to some :-) ) and the who development and communication of a personality is really important.

Banging my drum here, but have you joined a club yet?

I know some will say they are full of old gits, cliques and exclusive, but they do give you the chance to make friends and get tips, encouragement and a safe place to stand up and say things like:

"Hi, I'm Vic and I'm into magic!' There's no cure so why not indulge with the rest.
