The Shadow Line

Has anyone been watching 'The Shadow ine' on BBC2 over the last few weeks? If anyone ever needed a justification for the licence fee, this is it! We're five weeks in to a seven week run and mysteries and secrets are still piling up, whilst answers are slowly being dripped through.

And what a cast!? Rafe Spall is absolutely terrifying and, whilst other shows might take the obvious route and put him in every other scene, The Shadow Line chooses to use him so sparingly that you almost flinch every time he does appear. And the nerve to hire Sir Anthony Sher as a main character and then not to give him any scenes until the fifth week??! Not to mention Stephen Rea... I could go on...

Can anyone seriously imagine a series like this showing up on ITV???

If you've not tried it - try the series catch-up on the iPlayer... I envy you for what you're about to experience!!!

I am really enjoying this show and am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Chiwetel Ejiofor has long been a favourite actor of mine, and indeed Rafe Spall has been a highlight, not to mention Mr Rea being his usual amazing self.

I am pretty sure I already have figured a major upcoming twist, and look forward to seeing how close I am.
