Change bag

Postby Samba » Jun 7th, '11, 18:13

Hello,

First off, I know this isn't a review, but where shall I post a question about props ??!! Anyway... here's my question:

In 7 keys to baldpate, in Richard Osterlind's ETMMM vol 1, there was this change bag he used.

Lucky enough, I found Lawrence Gregory use a similar thing in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdGEVzVE7nA ( bare with me, I dunno how to embed videos yet )

So here's my question: Where can I get hold of information about this type of change bag ?

Also, I am looking for an innocent looking black change bag. Other than the type I talked about, how could you help me out regardless being the exact same change bag ???

I will be using a couple of envelopes to be forced , and a transparent one is not suitable.

( hope no one feeds on me cuz of my post count :| )

Thank you :P

A good googling of 'flat change bags' as Dale recommended should yeild some results if you're determined to buy rather than DIY. A personal recommendation would be Black Hart Artefacts... their standard stock item is embroidered with a pentagram (rather nicely too) although Keith occasionally has some unembroidered ones so it may be worth a speculative email.
If you're looking for something altogether less proppy than a velvet bag however, I have myself made and used a change bag from those plastic foolscap wallets.

Or use one of those cloth shopping bags they sell in Sainsbury's.
