Redesigning a bottle's label?

Postby Danny Joseph » Jun 4th, '11, 21:51

Hey forum :)

As part of my card to bottle routine, I thought it would be nice to then reveal the label on the bottle actually says their card on, for example.

CocaCola, could be made into NineClubs

I'm sure I could scan the design, edit it, and then, print off at a label company, but companies would obviously only do groups of 50's, how can I make just one or two?

This is the label I'm wanting to redesign, I use this drink as the opaque liquid makes for a better reveal for the card-in-bottle.

( I plan to change the word "ICE" to "ACE" and "SMIRNOFF" to "DIAMONDS" )

Either buy some big white labels from a stationary supplier (4 labels on one A4 sheet size) and print them off yourself, or if you haven't got your own printer connected to your computer go to a shop where they will print off a colour document on their computer or your local library might have the facilities to do it and then either cut it out and glue it on the bottle yourself or get it photocopied onto stationary labels.
