Leamington and Warwick Magic Society’s Day of Magic at Cubbington Sports & Social Club, Windmill Hill, Cubbington, Leamington Spa, CV32 7LN is the main event of our year.

With over 120 attendees last year this years event will be bigger and better as we strive to make this event the premier 1 day convention.

Includes breakfast for early morning arrivals, a lunch time buffet and evening BBQ weather permitting for all pre-paid tickets.

The lectures advised so far : Paul Gordon (cards), Colin Dymond (Putting puppets in your act), Andrew Normansell (new mentalism lecture).

More details will be posted when finalised.

Workshops will also be throughout the day.

In the evening we will again be holding the Midlands Champion of Champions Close-up Competition.

Also add to this a great range of dealers below who quote this event as one of the most enjoyable of the year.

Dealers

Merlins, World Magic Shop, Graham Lee, Adrian Sullivan, Heidi’s Costumes

Albion Magic, Keith Bennett, Andrew Normansell, Razamattaz Magic, Hocus Pocus.

Each year the numbers have grown for this event which must be the best value convention in the country.

Add to this free parking, it does not get much better than this!

A dealer update House of Magic will be attending for the first time.

I also hope someone can help me out we had a dealer there last year that sold custom made flight cases (the black with metal edges type), he did not book his space through me so I don't have the contact details or who it was as I was actually ill on the day and did not attend.

Any ides who it was or can someone hazard a guess?

The day is fast approaching and its set to be a good one.

We are just waiting for the final couple of names for the close-up competition.

We should also have a video screen up this year to show the lectures and competition up better.

I have had lots of people saying they will pay on the day which is fine but please telephone Mick and let him know so he allows for enough food etc.

Gutted I can't make it this year, this is by far one of the best one day conventions out there for value and for a terrific atmosphere.

I will miss the great food and the BBQ, how many conventions do you know that has all this included in the price!!!

Gary Jones.
P.S. I forgot to mention the all day bar at club prices!
