flaming business card advice please

Postby scroskey » Jun 21st, '11, 15:01

I have looked at Jim Pace's hot leads product as well as Peter Austin's 21st Century.

I shoot Fireworks in the summer months and work for a school system for a real job. I am looking for a way to pass out my business cards on fire. I want to be able to hand out multiple cards without having to "reload" the effect. I would prefer something electronic rather than mechanical and do not want something requiring flash paper/cotton. Jim Pace's hot leads and or hot money clip is becoming very difficult to find. Peter Austin's 21st century is about 4 times the price. I have read both positive and negative reviews for both products. If there are other solutions available I am open to them as well.

I would like the business cards to remain "ready" for the longest amount of time as I do not know when or how often I will be passing out cards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi There, when i was still performing regular magic i often used a fire wallet and / or Hot leads by Jim Pace. Hot leads is a good and rather safe way of giving out a flaming business card. When you do this now you need to remember that some venues (many now) will not allow magic with a flame. So if you intend to perform in the real world you need to check with your venue.

Thanks for the reply. I will not be performing, I would just be handing out a business card to a perspective client when trying to get a show booked. This would either be in the office with the client or most times outside at a shoot site.
