Hi all!

I just wanted to bring this and this to everyone's attention. Too cool to miss!

Damn, and I was already trying to resist CUPS...

I love them, im going to have to order at least 3 of each! 1 for me, 1to save, and one to never ever touch, and leave in its wrapper!

I can hear the patter coming...

"Oh, I just learnt a new trick from a girl.... it's kind of a girlish trick... so, well, let's use a pink deck to illustrate that..."

Yeah, I saw this the other day. I think I'll order it (when I have money). But I think the Tally-Ho Vipers look cooler and I'll think I'll get that first. I like Tally-Ho's more anyhow.

I saw these yesterday afternoon on magicshop.co.uk and showed my girlfriend - this morning I got a text from her telling me she's ordered a "nice pack of those pink cards you liked" for me to perform tricks on her with.

How thoughtful.

How embarrassing.

I just hope nobody finds them.

The whole candy blue and candy pink thing could work though, if you buy a deck of each colour - I'm thinking along the lines of boys v girls in some kind of patter in a 'Do As I Do' situation...

We all know that boys are naughtier than girls, right?

On second thoughts, let's not go there...

Are they much better than original Tally Ho's? Your Vipers I mean. What's special about the Ace of Spades? Because the picture doesn't show it very clearly.

I would get the blue deck but it's a bike and I'm not too into bikes. Used to use them before I found out about Tally Ho's but Tally Ho's last so much long and perform much better so I use them now. I have a Black Tiger Deck but it's not as good as Tally Ho's I think.

And who is Stephen Mulholland? LoL! Sorry if this sounds ignorant.

By the way, are you a girl Kati? Because I don't see much female magicians.

Physically, they're not much better than the Tally-Hos - in fact, I find that the finish is not as good, though this may just be my imagination. However, they look so much cooler...every single person I've shown them to has commented on how nice they look.

Unfortunately, most magicans get forced into using Bikes because you can't get gaff Tally-Ho cards. You could opt to leave gaffs out entirely, but imho it's better to have them (let's not get into that debate though).

A few days ago there were some newbies who kept posting I LOVE STEPHEN MULHOLLAND...I was just being silly. Don't worry, it doesn't sound ignorant. I've never heard of him either.

Nope. It's the problem with having a name like "Katriel" - either you get called Katriel or you get a nickname like Kati. It's pronounced kah (as in baCCArat) - tea: KAH-tee.

Oh right! Sorry for the confusion of your name...

I have actually seen Tally-Ho gaff cards but I forgot where. I think it was an invisible Tally-Ho Viper Deck. However, I don't like using gaff decks because most of the people that I do magic to are like either 16 year olds or chavs (sometimes) of whom tend to be grabby. I don't like the fact that the decks cannot be inspected. That's why I tend to stick to tricks using normal decks.

Recommendations for normal deck tricks include:

Emerge Triumphant
Starry Eyed Surprise (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
Born To Perform Card Magic DVD
Watch Magic DVD (for the more advanced cardicians)

Edit: Oh. If people are thinking this is off topic, this is not. Because the deck is a NORMAL blue/pink deck. And all these tricks above are used with normal decks. :D

My Pink and Pale Blue Bikes arrived this morning - they are weird in the extreme! The backs are the regular design, just different colours, and the faces are pink or blue background with white pips and indices. There are no twisted Aces or regular threes like the Black Tigers and I'm hard pressed to think of an occasion where these would look appropriate - perhaps a Barbie & Ken/Teletubbies/Rugrat Party or something like that. It will be interesting to see if they glow under UV light - that could be fun!
