hi guys, is anyone here from cambridge or the local surrounding areas? It would be great to meet up with some new magician friends for beer and magic!!!

I just started out in magic (been learning properly for about 7 months) and after a bit of looking around for local magic groups I found the Pentacle Club:

The Pentacle really are a great bunch, I keep meaning to make a trip back up and take in a night with them again.

When talking about smaller areas that don't offer the same kind of opportunities for performing, (it's not that more folks in London grew up wanting to be magicians, just that they moved there so they could do what they loved.) your best bet is to get your face known by the people at either the Pentacle for instance, or the Ipswich club (very closely linked to the Pentacle) and network from there if you want more actual in person interaction.

This is the great thing about living in London, plenty of Magi that we can get together at pretty short notice for a few beers etc.

I live in Peterborough and work in Huntingdon, wrong side of the A14 generally though for too many trips in to Cambridge.
