Help me find this please....

Postby kry10 » Jul 4th, '11, 19:27

Many many years ago, I used to go to a magic studio (Hamilton Kaye) in Sheffield and while there, purchased some magic magazines, I am not sure whether they were magigrams, abracadabra's or some other name.

What I do remember is a specific article called Sidney The Snake, but, he had a lisp so was pronounced Thidney The Thnake.

It showed you how to make a magic trick for children where the snake in question goes through the process of eating his entire family, ending in him being sick/thick.

I really would love to find this article again and make this trick as it holds a very special place in my heart.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I have googled it to within an inch of it's life and found nothing at all.

Thanks all.

sounds very much like something Supreme would of had in Magigram.

i believe its based on an old comedy skit, called Cicile the worm.
Its about a worm called Cicile, who eats all the vegetables in the garden, till he's sick. :D

Sounds similar to what I had, but, as I said, it was a snake with a lisp.

Someone must have seen it in a publication somewhere.
