Out of curiosity what level would someone need to be to make this a worthwhile purchase? It is for top level pros only or does it have a little something for everyone?

There should really be something in there for everyone. Even if you never use the material (and there's no reason of course why you shouldn't), you will pick up tips and hints that will be invaluable to you in whatever field of magic you decide to pursue. I've had close up guys tell me that they learnt a lot from my seance books for instance. So there's always something in there for everyone.
