Hi,

I've been attempting to learn the needle trick from Tarbell course in magic (the houdini one), as I am trying to put a stage act together. However either I am bad at reading instructions or the method doesn't seem to work. Those who know the method, it is the preparation that isn't working for me, as when I pull the threaded needles out, the thread is almost always tangled or knotted in a way which means I end up pulling a mangled mess out of my mouth rather than a lovely string of threaded needles!

If anyone could give me advice on this tricks methodology, or if this is not the best method to use, please can you let me know!

Get "Confessions of a Needle Swallower"-- the setup described in it is perfect. Also, the more needles you use, the closer together they are, the easier they come out.
