You win some, you lose some, no reason to stop entirely. I prefer to think of the words of great Western philosopher W.C. Fields, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it."

I would quote "If at first you don't succeed, you fail". But I heard it on the advert for a game, meaning it would be entirely sad if I could remember it. So I won't.

Nonsense! It's what I've been doing (very successfuly) for 20 years as a pro; about 15/20 times a month! I ONLY use cards, but I DO entertain them.

Hi Paul - We all know you're a superb card magician and would have absolutely no problem wowing a group of adults. But two hours of non-stop card magic for a group of kids? That's the problem here. If anyone can do that then respect is due!

Well, I have! Not often, but I have. But, they were about 8-10 year olds. IMHO, it's really a matter of entertaining, reacting...as well as good magic.
