anyone know if you can disable the imoboliser on a kangoo van 2002 (x..yev) & how often the £150 key replacments breakdown.

We bought an ex British Gas Y reg Kangoo at work some time ago. Damned immobiliser was a constrant source of non-starting problems. Despite the attention of experts we never did solve the problem, just used the Microsoft universal solution - close the windows, get out, give it 15 minutes, get back in and try starting up again. Most times that worked!
