Magicians Jacket wanted, any ideas ?

Postby kry10 » Jul 16th, '11, 23:20

Hi everyone.

I am after a jacket for a children's entertainer, it needs to be colourful, but, not too much like a clowns jacket.
I saw one in Magick Enterprises but, it is a medium, I need an XL as I am a little on the rotund side.
Any ideas guys ?
Don't suggest making one, as my haberdashery skills are non-existent, lol.
The label on the jacket I saw said Magic by Freddy's, but, when googling that, I just get a fancy dress website with no jacket like what I have seen.

look for companys that sell clothing for caterers. Theyoften stock large sized jackets, that have a pattern,or colour about them.

Go to a dressmaker (not a tailor) and get it made. That's what I did - got three full suits. Tailors were reluctant to work with patterned clothe, but dressmakers were cool with it.

Their website is non-existent, I get a link off google chrome to sexy heidi costumes, which, while fun to look at, ain't exactly what I want, lol.

Besides, they wouldn't suit me, hehehe

Heidi's not a website person. She's a facebook fan. She makes lots of costumes for clowns + magicians.

She's currently making some stilt trousers for Jake the Juggler. Also doing a clown jacket to fit approx ten year olds for my circus workshops. No doubt other things as well.

She attends various events including Blackpool and kidology.
