anyone can recommend a good online shop for the latest tricks you can buy or download.

There are loads, it really depends on what your after, do you want card tricks, mentalism, dark magic, kids shows, the list goes on.

If you can narrow it down, I am sure me and the guys on here will be able to point you in the right direction.

Thanks guys, I'm more after the latest tricks, more on close up, and street magic, the visual ones are the best. Not keen on the old and out dated toy like sets if you know what I mean. Also flourish DVD's ...

If you're after quick, visual tricks rather than nicely performed routines, maybe you should check out the dan and dave store. They seem to be completely visual and flourishy. It isn't a uk site though, and you do get the feeling that some things there are created just for selling rather than anything else, but still, that sound right up your street.

I do agree with Jim though, look at getting some old books, a lot of the "new" stuff, is just a new take on pretty old ideas.

Dude thats cool magic has been the best so far and willing to chat and help in many ways , had experiance with a few others and found them to be too buisness like only wanting the cash not listening to the customer , also has many extensive demonstrations on the site as well , check out 'something from nothing '

Personally I swear by http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/ which is very good for obtaining the consumables and tools of magic.

They have books and DVDs as well, but I mostly use them for generic gaffs gimmicks and supplies for classic effects.

Magicbox is one of the best around. A great bricks and mortar shop if you are ever in Newcastle, but they also have an excellent online service.
